I am all for free love and expression, which probably makes me a minority in the Christian community, but then so be it. I am who I am and I'm not changing for anyone. This movie is awesome, although the ending did leave a little bit open for interpretation. "I told my friends about you... everything..." -- did they end up together? Perhaps the unknown future aspect of this is something that will satisfy both people who support openly gay relationships and people who don't. I think the most cautious thing about the choice of whether or not to watch this movie, for some at least, is the worry about it being disrespectful to the LGBTI community in terms of whether producers are going to allow the characters to pursue freedom of expression or push them into some kind of perceived societal standard. I Must say at one stage in the last 15 minutes I did think that. A word of caution for those easily offended -- the movie does not hold back at all on nudity or sex, but for me at least, the fact that it's done in a respectful manner (as in not forced into a movie for the obligatory so called sex scene) is comforting, for lack of a better word. Nothing in the world is more natural.
