EW posted an article on July 12th 2017, titled The L Word: 6 things we want to see in the sequel, here is what they said:
With the news that Showtime is working on an update of The L Word, we immediately started brainstorming where this show could go. After careful consideration, here are our top six dream scenarios for the new Word.
Bette breaks up with Tina!
This rollercoaster of a relationship got old. We’d like to see them make a clean break and have Bette focus on her career. Speaking of…
Bette gets a job in politics!
She was always passionate about social issues so it seems like the perfect segue for her to move into the political world. Bette Porter in 2020!!!
Jenny is alive!
Let’s face it: The L Word isn’t really The L Word without the show’s polarizing princess, Jenny Schecter (Mia Kirshner). We agree with the cast’s plea to forget season 6 and keep Jenny amongst the living.
Alice becomes a social media mogul!
At this point, we’re betting she’s turned The Chart into a dating app à la Bumble or Tinder and is def working in an open floor plan with bean bag chairs and themed conference rooms.
Shane starts her own line of hair care products
…or maybe skinny jeans. We’re still deciding between these options.
HOLLAND. TAYLOR.
The actress played the mother of Helena Peabody (Rachel Shelley) and we just want her back. Kthnx.
Ilene Chaiken responded on twitter by saying done.
From our point of view the one thing we really did not like the idea of was Bette and Tina splitting up because even though they had their ups and downs they were always going to be the couple that survived .Although we have to possibly understand that there might be a chance that Laurel Holloman might not return. She was not at the reunion and has not acted since 2010 and is now involved in her art.
Tell us what are some of the things you would like to see happen? And do you agree or disagree if EW's list!
